Hi, guys!

I hope you and your families are well and that you all have a happy, healthy and safe holiday, whichever you celebrate (and hopefully some time off, even if you don’t).

After reading last week’s newsletter about feeding deer (which I cautioned against), reader Arthur James wrote in with a concern: “Please advise all that feeding deer is illegal in New York.”

He’s right, of course, and it’s illegal in many other states, too (Google your state and “feeding deer illegal” to find your own state’s laws). Regardless of the legality in your neck of the woods, however, feeding deer around your home is simply a bad idea.
