I put 10-10-10 on my lawn as well other plants around the house. Only twice a year. Just did it and will do it again in September.
Also I much grass climbing with the lawnmower. The big name fertilizers have to much nitrogen, 24% or more. I don't feel all that nitrogen is good and the 10-10-10 works fine
